Turning Mountains into Speed Bumps

Do you even know where you are going? Do you know what your goal is? If so, start there and work backwards - it's so much easier and less daunting to start at the top and look down, then to stare up the mountain.

That’s exactly what I’m preparing with some of my private performance coaching clients: I’m having them look at what they want to accomplish over the summer, than we’re going to work backwards together to determine what they need to do each day to accomplish their goals.

I’m asking them to be very detailed in their description:
  • How do they feel (confident, empowered, unstoppable etc)?
  • What are they able to do (with exact measures so they know if they achieve it or not)?
  • Why do they want this (a deeper why, what moves them, what will make them train on days they don’t want to)?
  • When do they want to achieve this goal (what's their 'finish line')?
I ask you to do the same thing today in all areas in your life. Pick your finish line, give yourself a bit of time, then work backwards and commit to doing something each day.  If you need any help, please send me an email - I’m happy to help.

With a plan in hand, empowering feelings, and action being taken you’ll find your mountain begins to look more like a speed bump.
